The Philips 968 is a TriBand handset with a touchscreen. And the more interesting where it is a clamshell with a rotational screen. It has built in with a 1.3 megapixel camera and it able to play out 64 polyphonic ringtones and also MP3. Differs from the elder models in a more qualitative body, increased screen resolution up to QVGA. Philips consists of 40 MB user memory and it can be expandable through SD card.This mobile is being released sometime in 2006 and let’s hope early 2006. This mobile has a very cool feature and that it flips open and then once its open the top part can rotate round so the screens either facing the front or back, yes I know we can take pictures of ourselfs. It has an internal aerial, the size is 92×45×25mm and weighs 110grams, and the colour of the Philips 868 will come only in silver but who knows if it’s popular then they will come out with more. The only thing lacking on this mobile phone is that it has not got Bluetooth. The talk time is round about 5 hours with standby time being 150 hours.

It uses GSM 900/GSM 1800 networks. It is a black and small mobile of 92×445×26mm and weighs 110 grams. It has a touch screen display of 128×160 pixels. It has 64 poly phonic ring tones and MP3 ring tones. It can save 30 dialed, received and missed calls. It has SMS, EMS, MMS and E-mail facility. It is equipped with 2MP, 1600×1200 pixels video flash camera. It has MP3 music player. It has T9 and calculator to do calculation. it has organizer to do the list. It uses standard Li-ion 750mAh battery. This is a phone by Philips mobile phone company and it is going to capture a large part of mobile market.
